The Welch Family
In 2007, we began the journey of transforming the horse pasture we knew as children into a berry farm for the next generation. After many years of love, labor, and an ever growing appreciation for the land, we aim to form a community around this beloved place. At our family-run farm, our vision is for families and close friends to pick berries together, create memories, and of course, enjoy nutritious, wholesome food. We receive great joy in seeing others participate in farm activities. Also, we always partner with local farmers to provide you with the very best quality locally sourced products. From our family to yours, we invite you to come learn, experience, and get your hands a bit dirty here at Driving Wind Farm!

We are a family owned and operated Berry Farm, Country Store, Cafe, and event space. The farm has been in the family for decades. What started as undeveloped horse pasture opened to the public 2011as a local urban farm experience just minutes from downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
